My old site stopped working because my hosting provider decided it was time to stop offering a free Wordpress account. I could easily transfer my site to Wordpress.com or even to another hosting provider by installing Wordpress myself. I decided creating my site using Ruby on Rails instead.
I sat down yesterday and I created the first version of my site, starting from covering the blog functionality. Start to finish it only took a couple of hours.
You will notice that it is very minimal. Sorry I am not a designer, I am mainly a programmer. Also, some standard features are missing, like an RSS feed. Missing features are coming up. This is a live site that will grow as time passes. I'll be adding features along the way. I decided this way, instead of working on it for ages before publishing it.
